Love and Money presents The Biggest Crew Date Ever,

The scene is a common one: you’re on a crew date at Oxford’s hottest venue, Jamal’s, you’re stuck at the end of the table with two people you’ve never met and one you don’t like and after ten minutes you want to move on and find someone more exciting. The solution is coming in 5th week of Michaelmas from the team behind ‘Love and Money’. Instead of going on a crew date with one other society, sports te...am or “lads” drinking society, we’re offering you the chance to enjoy the company of 15 other crews all on one night and at the same place, our very own University Club. This time each individual crew date will last only ten minutes before you are whisked on to meet the next group, meaning that you’re never stuck, never bored and always meeting someone new.
The cost of a ticket to this revolutionary event will be £8 and includes as many drinks as you could want. The drinks will be homemade and destructively alcoholic, including our brand new Love and Money cocktail.
Cheaper than Jamal’s, nearer to Park End, so many more people; why would you not choose this as your crew date for 5th week? Sconcing, as always, will be strongly advised.
There is one further twist: in coherence with the themes of Love and Money, we will ask you to choose Love or Money when you buy your ticket. Those who choose Love will see how each other society has ranked them over the course of the evening, those who choose money will get £2 off their entry to Shark End at Lava Ignite. Will Love or Money win the day?
Charity Auction
As this is going on there will also be an auction of promises, the proceeds of which will go to the Gatehouse charity supporting homeless people in Oxford. This has been doing great work with homeless people for a number of years, offering help to those who need it most, 6 days a week.
